2. What we process
- Visitor statistics (only with your consent): we use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate statistics about site visits. Analytics loads only after you accept it in the cookie prompt. The data is statistical and we do not link it to individuals.
- Contact requests: when you contact us by email or phone, we process the details you provide for handling the matter, and keep them only as long as necessary.
- Technical server logs: our hosting provider processes IP addresses briefly to deliver the service and ensure security.
3. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are set only if you accept analytics. Your consent choice is stored in your browser's local storage, which is necessary for remembering the choice.

4. Third-party services and transfers
- Google Analytics: the recipient is Google Ireland Ltd. Data may be transferred outside the EU (Google LLC, USA) under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics event data is retained by Google for a maximum of 14 months.
- Google Maps: the location map is loaded from Google only when you choose "Accept all" in the cookie prompt or click the "Show map" button yourself. Before that, no map-related data is sent to Google.
- Fonts and other resources are served from our own server — no third-party requests without your action.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request rectification or erasure, object to processing, and withdraw your consent at any time. Contact: info@kirkkaasti.fi. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, tietosuoja.fi/en).
6. Managing your consent
You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing removes the analytics cookies and also stops the automatic loading of the map. Consent is re-requested at least every 12 months.
7. Changes
We update this policy when needed, for example if the site's features change. The current version is always on this page.
